How Can severe Ear Infection Be Treated?

I just purchased cipro hc otic ear drops (Alcan) for an ear infection. Purely precautionary because it is not bad now however I wanted to have them with me just in case during travel during next week. If I do not open the 10 ml container, does this prolong the shelf life, or does it matter if I open it or not as far as shelf life is concerned? It s pretty expensive so I was thinking if I didn t have to use it now I could still use it in the future for my next ear infection. Thank you

Hello Dear. Cipro otic ear drops can be used for ear infection. If you are having chronic ear infection you may have to consult an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) surgeon and get evaluated. Sometimes other procedures like syringing (in case of wax) and surgery may be required.

As far as opening the drops, you can open it and use now. It doesnot cause any changes in the shelf life of the drug. Just that you need to store it in relatively cool place away from heat and sunlight. That is sufficient.
